APPLICABLE CODES AND STANDARDS

The boiler proper, boiler external piping and non-boiler external piping shall be
designed, manufactured, assembled and inspected in accordance with the following
laws and regulations with the Addenda and Edition, which are valid at the time of
signing the contract, with the following exceptions:
a) The Certificate of Authorization (ASME) is not required
b) The ASME Code Symbol will not be stamped
c) Data Report Forms will not be issued
Some boiler parts will be subcontracted to our partners approved according to
Metso’s QA-system, in which case same requirements mentioned in this
specification will be fulfilled. In addition the Certificate of Authorization in
accordance with the local authority requirements shall be required from our
subcontractors of pressure bearing parts.
